Celebrating 20 Years of Bass & Flinders Maritime Museum
About this event
Join in to celebrate a very special milestone: twenty years of the Bass & Flinders Maritime Museum!
For two decades, the museum has helped share and preserve the rich maritime history of George Town and the Tamar region, bringing stories of boats, sailors, shipbuilding, fishing and life on the water to generations of visitors. To mark this special occasion, you'll be joined by special guests who helped establish and set up the museum 20 years ago. Come along to hear their stories, reminisce about the early days and discover how the museum came to be.
It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people, stories and community spirit that have helped make the Bass & Flinders Maritime Museum what it is today.
20 years of stories. 20 years of history. 20 years of community.
