From the organiser

In Embroidery Monsters, textile artist Lana Hayward brings a fantastical world of imagination to life through intricate needlework. Deeply fascinated by the endless variety found in insects, animals, and plant life, Hayward translates this passion into vibrant textile pieces.

By blending organic forms and botanical textures, she creates whimsical, hybrid-like creatures that challenge traditional boundaries of embroidery. Each piece invites viewers to explore the playful intersection of nature and the subconscious, capturing the artist's unique creative inspiration one stitch at a time.
