From the organiser

The Clay Whale Tail Summer Family Workshop invites adults and children to create a ceramic whale tail with artist Christie Lange in Binalong Bay on Tasmania's Bay of Fires.

Shape a freestanding sculpture and personalise it with coastal textures in a relaxed garden studio. Christie provides demonstrations and individual guidance as participants explore clay and develop their own designs.

Suitable for beginners aged eight and over, this small group experience offers families and friends time to create together. Children aged eight to twelve must attend with a participating adult.

Clay, tools, glazing, kiln firings and refreshments are included. Pieces remain at the studio for finishing and are ready approximately four to six weeks later. Australia wide postage can be arranged at an additional cost.
