Forest Songs for Little Ones - Live
About this event
Come into the forest of Takayna with Barkindji Songwoman Nancy Bates and acclaimed pianist and educator Dave McEvoy.
Created especially for children 0 – 6 years but suitable for anyone with a love of music, Nancy (voice) and Dave (piano) will lead a very special interactive performance exploring music in ILA’s Studio, surrounded by footage of the magnificent Takayna forest on 110m2 LED screens.
Everyone will be encouraged to move around and join in the music making!
This performance is part of the live music series presented alongside the Art For Takayna immersive exhibition, showing until 10 October.
