Nathan Evans is bringing his distinctly Scottish sound to Australian shores for the first time ever in October 2026. Evans, joined by SAINT PHNX Band are set to mesmerise audiences in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth with his unique blend of folk-pop and shanty sounds.
Known for his viral reinterpretation of the traditional song “Wellermen”, now sitting at half a billion streams, the then-amateur-turned-global-sensation combines traditional Scottish instruments, deep lyrics and heartfelt melodies to form an unmistakable sound.
Four years, a double-platinum record (UK), and countless awards later, Nathan Evans has returned with a new album1994, bringing us new fan favourite “Heather On The Hill”. A love letter to his wife and hometown, the track climbed UK singles charts and earned Evans invitations to appear on TV shows and prestigious stages worldwide.
The story of Nathan Evans is reminiscent of a modern internet fairy tale. A struggling musician delivering mail by day in a small town outside Glasgow, he began sharing his life and artistic work with his fans on social media. Everything changed when a 26-year-old Nathan Evans decided to post an acapella version of “Wellerman” to Tik Tok, spawning a massive viral trend. A month later, he had a three-album record deal with Universal. He has now built a community of almost 450k Instagram followers and more than 1.9 million TikTok followers.
Capturing hearts with his authenticity and relatability, Evans has never lost sight of his humble Scottish roots. With countless shows around the UK and Europe under his belt as well as two appearances at TRNSMT festival, Nathan Evans recentlystepped onto the biggest stage of his career yet: his first headline arena show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena.
