we can’t believe its been four years since the launch of essence! It has been a wild ride with 29 events, 10 international artists and the best local dj’s and don’t worry theres more to come….
for our fourth anniversary we’re taking over the rechabite with two huge acts: sarz + 2wo bunnies.

ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE. We honour the Whadjuk Noongar people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live, work and play and offer our respect to Elders past, present and future.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Tickets. If you are attending a ticketed event, please have your tickets ready to scan on entry.
Bring ID.
The Rechabite is a licensed venue and you may be asked for a valid ID at the entrance.
Anyone unable to provide ID may be refused entry.
The Rechabite has a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discriminatory, or anti-social behaviour. Please be kind to one another. If you see or experience anything that makes you feel unsafe please speak to our staff.
The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to any person.
Intoxicated persons will not be admitted.
