About this event

LAST WORDS PRESENTS:

WHEN WE WEREN’T THERE

(THE RUNNING IT BACK EVEN BIGGER EDITION)

Feeling that weird FOMO because When We Were Young isn’t happening this year?

Us too. But we aren’t gonna sit around and cry about it.

We’re gonna roll on and throw our own party in its honour, cos you know how we fkn do.

Last year’s When We Weren’t There was epic - one of the highlights of our party season.

Lungs gone, merch flying, people crying to Mayday Parade… we had it all.

So we’re running it back bigger and louder this year.

Saturday October 10 at Bootleggers, Newtown.

We’ve locked in another ridiculous lineup of vocalists from your favourite bands to jump on stage and belt out covers of iconic hits from past WWWY lineups.

Think of it as a full-send live-band karaoke night with the best of the best, backed by our mates in Elara as the official house band (they were the best we could do with no money left, sorry @varun).

VOCALISTS:

Emmy (RedHook)

Tom (Sienna Skies)

Josh (FANGZ)

Landon (Bad/Love)

Nic (Live Like Animals)

Charlize (Retail Therapy)

Plus Emmy (RedHook) + Monty (Bad/Love) on the decks for a B2B guest DJ set.

In between the live sets, the Last Words DJs will be spinning emo, punk & metal all night.

Full festival energy, band merch tables so you can still cop the goodies

No Vegas this year? No worries. The real party’s right here in Sydney.
