Pick-up at your cruise ship in Livorno port and a scenic drive through the Tuscan hills to Florence. First stop: Piazzale Michelangelo, the best panoramic view over the city, with the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and the Arno river at your feet, and a bronze copy of Michelangelo's David.(20 min)

Your driver drops you off in the heart of Florence for about 3 hours of free time to explore on your own. Our suggested walk: the Duomo with Brunelleschi's dome, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoy lunch at your own pace (own expense): your driver will suggest a good spot for an authentic Tuscan bite. If you wish to see Michelangelo's David, book your Accademia Gallery tickets in advance (own expense).(3 hr)
