Pick-up at 9:00 AM from your hotel, B&B or apartment in Florence and a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside to Volterra, the Etruscan hilltop town famous for alabaster. Enjoy free time to explore Piazza dei Priori with its medieval town hall, the Cathedral, the Etruscan Arch (Porta all'Arco) and the Roman Theatre, and step into the artisan workshops where you can watch alabaster being carved by hand.(1 hr 30 min)

Lunch at Podere La Marronaia, a family-run organic farm with a breathtaking panoramic view over the towers of San Gimignano: a 3-course Tuscan lunch paired with 4 wines, including Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi and a Super Tuscan, plus tastings of the farm's extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.(2 hr)

Last stop: San Gimignano, the 'Medieval Manhattan' famous for its towers. Free time to see Piazza della Cisterna, Piazza del Duomo with the Collegiata church, and to climb the Torre Grossa for the view (own expense).
