Your driver picks you up at La Spezia cruise port and takes you through the Tuscan hills to Lucca. Enjoy about 90 minutes of free time inside its perfectly preserved Renaissance walls: stroll or bike along the tree-lined ramparts, browse the lively Via Fillungo shopping street, admire San Michele in Foro church and the oval Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, in the town where Giacomo Puccini was born.(1 hr 30 min)

Lunch at the Carmignani family farm in the Lucca countryside: a genuine Tuscan farm lunch with a rich antipasto of salami, prosciutto and bruschetta, homemade pasta and dessert, paired with 4 local wines. You will also taste the farm's extra virgin olive oil, truffle and chili olive oils and balsamic vinegar, with views over the vineyards.(2 hr)

After lunch, your driver drops you off right next to the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli) in Pisa for free time: see the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery and take your classic photos. Return to La Spezia port around 5:00 PM, always planned around your ship's all-aboard time.(45 min)
