About this tour

Our tours are researched from books, news media, or first-hand experience. We can tell you what the ghost does, and how they died. We also let you use a variety of ghost-hunting tools, from EMF meters to thermal visualisers. No one knows more about ghosts in SC.

If you are looking for an environmentally scary tour, you should book at night. We have 2 main locations that are quite creepy at night. We have to keep these a mystery, as the city of Greenville SC is extremely restrictive with small businesses. So it has to be a surprise for you. The cemetery pictured is not the one we will go to.

As for the "and more"; we will customise the information we give you and even the walking path if you have something special that you want to see. It's all about you. We could talk about history, art, or food instead.

Keep in mind that this is a 2-hour walking tour. The walk back by itself can put up 30 minutes over the stop time (2.5 hours). It is between 6-7 miles in total on most tours.

  1. 1

Both history lovers and ghost lovers will enjoy this stop. The Westin Poinsett is like a time capsule from the 1920s. Classic carpets, sweeping columns, and beautiful motifs dot the hotel. The building itself has a rich history of natural passings, ghosts that can't let go of the building they love, and ghosts of bootleggers in the basement area.(pass by)

  2. 2

Falls Park is one of the top parks in the entire country. Both the nearby Reedy River and the waterfall itself hide creepy secrets. With a rich history, it would be strange if there weren't ghosts in the area. Some of the hotels on the waterfront, and older mill buildings in the area, also contain haunted pasts. There is a truly a wealth of haunted info in this area.(pass by)

  3. 3

The Greenville Summit is probably the most haunted building in Greenville. Starting as the Imperial Hotel in 1912, it eventually became a retirement complex in the 1980s. Large numbers of natural deaths have led to an extremely haunted reputation for the building. According to travel nurses we've spoken with, it is the scariest building they've ever worked in. We want to save the exact nature of the haunts for the tour. We also don't go very far into this building, as it is still active as a senior living complex.(pass by)

  4. 4

Rocket Fizz is a great store, and falls under the "And More" of the tour. It has over 200 different candies and soda. More than that though, it has a haunted history and is flanked by other buildings with ghostly happenings. In the early 1900s, the road behind it actually contained the main tombstone manufacturer in the area. This sweet store is flanked by the paranormal on all sides.(10 min)

2 Hour Holiday Lights and Cheer Driving Tour

Greenville, South Carolina

Customization and honesty set up apart from the other tours in town. We change up our entire tour based on what you tell us that you want. Within reason, we can change the tour on the fly from doing a completely different topic to making additional stops for shopping or photos. No one else in town offers this level of customization. Honesty is the second thing you get. We'll tell you whether Greenville, is a nice place to move to, how good a restaurant is and much more. We constantly study books and visit restaurants to give you the true view of the area. On top of these two main points, you can expect a civil tour where we treat you with respect, and a great deal of information about the area. We are here to create the best possible experience we can for you.

The 1-Hour Greenville History and More Walking Tour

Greenville, South Carolina

The biggest difference is customization. We change it up as we walk depending on what you tell us. No other tour in Greenville lets you customize every detail. We also know more about modern Greenville, SC, than anyone else in town. Every day our guides read and study more about the area. Crossed Roads Tour guides all grew up in the area. We have special insights that the many tours coming from outside simply cannot have. And the final difference, is honesty. We'll actually tell you whether a restaurant is good or bad, and whether an activity is worth doing. Even if that means upsetting a particular restaurant or business, we'll give you the truth.
