Enjoy your first flight at New Orleans' mainstay craft brewery, established 1986, people all over the world know Abita as one of the oldest craft breweries in the southeastern United States.(30 min)

Take your drinks "to go" for a walk to our next brewery, named for the owner's parent's beekeeping hobby. Funky, off-the-wall beers are tapped along more common brews for an interesting flight #2.(30 min)

Your final stop is just around the corner. Established in 2008, this brewery was founded to fill the void left by the closure of Dixie Brewing after Hurricane Katrina, making it the first production brewery in the city since 2005. Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience in New Orleans
New Orleans, Louisiana
4.9 · 60 reviews on Viator
With a collection of over 4,000 artifacts spanning 13 Southern states and 350 years of history from colonial times to the present, the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience tells the fascinating, totally unique, and often overlooked story of Jewish survival – and success – in the American South. Our award-winning permanent galleries showcase the journeys Jewish immigrants made to the South, the ways of life they chose, how Jewish traditions and practices were expressed through Southern values, and how Jewish Southerners deeply impacted this region, from the Revolutionary War to the civil rights movement – and were, in turn, influenced by their friends and neighbors. Our rotating Special Exhibition Gallery hosts the compelling past-and-present stories of Jewish communities, individuals, and ideas throughout the American South with stand-alone art and artifacts exhibits.
