About this tour

This isn’t a riding stable or a petting zoo. It’s a true Boulder horse sanctuary, where every horse has a forever home and is valued for who they are, not what they can do. The sanctuary was inspired by Daisy, a palomino born with a neurological condition who was deemed “useless.” Guided by founder Susan, who has 40+ years with horses, you’ll experience connection, compassion, and confidence as you learn about trust, communication, and mindful care through grooming and groundwork. It’s all on the ground, with no riding and no horse experience needed. Perfect for animal lovers and anyone looking to slow down outdoors, Hoofbeats and Heartbeats is a peaceful, heart-centered visit you’ll remember long after you leave.
