About Superordinary

Superordinary is a single-storey warehouse venue on MacArthur Avenue in Hamilton, Brisbane: one floor, step-free from the street, with the bar, courtyard and toilets all on the same level.

Getting in: no lip or threshold at the front door or the entry gates, and no stairs anywhere a patron needs to go. Email the venue before a show and they will add you to the access list — priority entry at the gate rather than the main queue, staff briefed on your needs, and anything you have asked for ready when you arrive.

Surfaces: indoors is flat concrete. Sections of the courtyard are compacted gravel, including a short stretch on the way to the accessible toilet ramp. The venue describes it as level and firm, and says wheelchair users cross it regularly, though it is not as smooth as the concrete. Tell them ahead of a show if surfaces are a concern, or ask any staff member for a hand on the night.

Toilets: the amenities block has a wheelchair-accessible toilet reached by ramp, with the short gravel approach above, and staff are on hand if you would like assistance. There are also two ambulant cubicles, and at larger events additional accessible portable toilets are supplied to scale with the crowd.

Getting here: rideshare and taxi drop-off is at the door at 175 MacArthur Ave. Dock B Car Park is beside the venue and The Yard Car Park is just across MacArthur Avenue, with a zebra crossing back to the venue side. The Northshore Hamilton CityCat terminal is about 980 m along a sealed riverside path, and CityCat services are wheelchair accessible.

Companion Card is accepted: the cardholder's companion is admitted at no charge. For ticketed events, arrange the companion ticket with the venue or the event's ticket outlet before the night; at the door, just show the card.

Certified assistance animals are always welcome and never refused. Event nights run loud and crowded, with haze and lighting effects, so the venue encourages handlers to make contact ahead of the night. Water and a relief area are available — ask any staff member.

At the show: free earplugs and free drinking water at the bar, first aid on site at every event, and a powered charging point for mobility devices. Events often use haze, strobe lighting and sustained loud sound, so check the event listing before you book, and tell the venue about sensory or positioning needs ahead of time.

Access questions and requirements go to hello@superordinary.com.au or the venue hotline on 0498 565 675.

The venue's accessibility page names the car parks nearby but does not say whether they have accessible parking bays, so accessible parking is not recorded here.

Accessibility scores are an AI-assisted baseline drawn from public sources and community insight. Where a venue is operator- or council-verified, a person has confirmed its details — shown by the badge near the top. If a detail is critical to your visit, we recommend confirming with the venue before you go. How scores work
